A FedEx executive must transform himself physically and emotionally to survive a crash landing on a deserted island.
Enemy of the State 1998
As the movie opens, Congress is close to passing legislation to expand surveillance powers of law enforcement agencies. Congressman Phil Hammersley (Jason Robards, uncredited) is trying to stop the bill because he believes it is an invasion of privacy, while Thomas Reynolds (Jon Voight) is trying to push the bill through to confront growing terrorist threats against the U.S. and advance his own career. Hammersley, on making it clear he will not reconsider, is then killed with a syringe to the neck near a lake by David Pratt (Barry Pepper), one of two rogue NSA agents loyal to Reynolds, who plant a bottle of heart medication near the body to make the death seem like a heart attack. On hand to witness such is Hicks (Loren Dean), Reynold's number two in the NSA. However, a video camera set up by wildlife researcher Daniel Zavitz (Jason Lee) to monitor goose migration caught the entire incident.
When Zavitz views Hammersley's murder, he realizes that the news reports of a sudden heart attack are false and sends word to a friend of his, an anti-war activist and underground journalist. Zavitz is unaware that another of Reynolds' agents saw him retrieve the tape from the video camera, alerting them that Zavitz could have possibly videotaped the murder. He copies the tape onto a computer cartridge, and when NSA agents arrive, he hides the tape in a TurboExpress and escapes. Tracked by satellite and pursued by NSA agents, Zavitz bumps into an old friend from Georgetown University, labor lawyer Robert Clayton Dean (Will Smith) who is in a lingerie store shopping for a gift for his wife.
Dean had just come from a meeting with mafia members who control a labor union he is representing and beat up one of the members for not toeing the line. He had raised their ire by showing them a videotape of Pintero (Tom Sizemore) consorting with union officials, in violation of his parole. Pintero threatens to kill Dean within a week if he does not give them the name of the source.
While Dean hands Zavitz his business card, Zavitz drops the cartridge with the murder footage into Dean's shopping bag (without Dean's knowledge) and then flees. Pursued by NSA agents, Zavitz jumps onto a bike and rides down a busy street, where he is hit and killed by a firetruck. After finding Dean's business card on Zavitz's body, the agents visit Dean posing as detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia. Unaware that Zavitz gave him the video, Dean tells them he has no knowledge of their allegations that he was passed "sensitive materials," denying them access to his bags without a warrant. Dean then tries to find these materials, but unbeknownst to him, his son had already removed the device from his shopping bags.
The next day the NSA agents break into Dean's house looking for the tape. While they do not find it, they plant tracking bugs in his clothes and personal items. They also plant audio and video bugs throughout his house, while ransacking it to cover their tracks and bugs. The NSA smears him with a false story about a love affair with Rachel Banks (Lisa Bonet), an old girlfriend who acted as an intermediary between Dean and her contact "Brill", the source of the mafia tape. He is fired from his law firm and thrown out of the house by his wife. When he attempts to check into a hotel for the night, he learns his credit cards have been canceled and somebody has stolen his attaché case.
Believing that all his trouble started with the mafia tape, he meets up with Rachel to have him set up a meeting with "Brill". With Reynold's men listening in, they set up a fake "Brill" (Gabriel Byrne) to meet Dean to ascertain the whereabouts of the murder footage. He is quickly helped by a stranger (Gene Hackman) escape this agent and taken to a hotel rooftop. The man is retired NSA agent Edward Lyle, the real "Brill", who shows him the bugs that have been planted in his belongings, and tells him the NSA is after him. When NSA agents chase Dean through the hotel, Dean escapes by climbing on the balconies from the roof, in the process removing his bugged clothes and stealing a robe, then setting the janitor's storage closet on fire to activate the fire alarm. While Dean is being transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation, he steals a cop's gun, escapes from the ambulance and runs down a tunnel. The NSA agents are able to watch him by impersonating the DC Metro Police and having Tunnel Control relay to them Dean's movements on their security cameras. Dean escapes by giving his robe to a person doing street sweeping. Dean heads home and is able to convince his wife that he never had an affair with Rachel and, after telling her everything, he realizes that his son must have gotten hold of what Zavitz was trying to give him and quickly retrieves it. Dean then finds out that Rachel had been killed by Reynolds's team (to frame him for murder) by planting the clothes he took off at the hotel in Rachel's apartment. He and Brill make contact and finally discover that they possess the murder video -- just minutes before it is destroyed in an attack by the NSA. Reynolds's team tracked them down after Dean carelessly made a phone call at a nearby convenience store.
While on the run, Brill reveals that he served as Rachel's contact because he and her late father worked together in the Shah's Iran and her father was murdered in the aftermath of the Iranian Revolution. When Dean says he will not leave his family per Brill's suggestion, they decide to engage in some guerrilla warfare against the rogue NSA agents. They use covert technology methods on a supporter of the surveillance bill, Congressman Sam Albert (Stuart Wilson), similar to those used on Dean, that catches him having an affair with his aide and exposes an illegal NSA operation to the NSA's top brass. They also plant evidence that Reynolds is corrupt and having an affair, which angers his wife, and gets his attention so they can arrange a meeting with him. Their plan is to incriminate Reynolds by recording his conversation with Brill about the conspiracy on tape, but Reynolds is able to stall them without revealing any incriminating evidence.
Dean and Brill are captured, and it is apparent that they will be killed in order to eliminate any witnesses. However, Fiedler (Jack Black) audiotapes the conversation between Reynolds, Brill, and Dean. Dean turns the tables by claiming that the leader of the Pintero mafia family has the tape Reynolds is after. This leads the conspirators back to the Italian restaurant that Dean visited earlier in the movie, which he knows is under surveillance by the FBI. Dean then convinces Pintero that Reynolds made the tape of his meeting with the union leaders. Reynolds believes that the tape in question documents the Hammersley murder. The situation quickly becomes a Mexican standoff between the agents and mobsters, escalating into a firefight when one latecomer agent is suddenly shot by staff.
Dean and Brill are among the few survivors. Reynolds, Hicks, Pratt and nearly all of the rogue agents involved in the conspiracy, and most of the mobsters including Pintero are killed. The FBI sweeps in and the plot behind the legislation is soon exposed. The only two surviving conspirators, NSA technicians Fiedler (Jack Black) and Jamie (Jamie Kennedy) are taken into custody by the FBI, and the NSA's involvement is covered up by the FBI, by implicating the late Pintero as the one who killed Rachel Banks. Sam Albert informs the media in an interview that the bill did not pass the legislature, and Dean is cleared of all charges and returns home with his wife, while Brill, who escapes to exile in a tropical location, sends a friendly message to Dean via his television set.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1
'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 1' dibuka dengan pidato Menteri Sihir Rufus Scrimgeour (Bill Nighy) yang menegaskan bahwa situasi masih aman dan terkendali. Ini seperti sebuah bantahan untuk menenangkan rakyat yang sebenarnya tengah dikuasai oleh kekuatan-kekuatan jahat dari alam kegelapan. Alkisah, setelah kematian Profesor Dumbledore, kekuatan Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) semakin merajalela, menanamkan kuku-kuku jahatnya di Kementerian Sihir, dan melanjutkan usahanya untuk membunuh Harry Potter.
Melalui Kementerian Sihir yang telah dikuasainya, Voldemort juga mengambil-alih kendali Sekolah Sihir Hogwarts sehingga trio Harry Potter, Ron dan Hermione melarikan diri dari sana. Film ini mengisahkan petualangan trio penyihir yang telah beranjak dewasa itu setelah Hogwarts tak lagi menjadi tempat yang nyaman bagi mereka. Dengan pengawalan Hagrid dan Mad-Eye, mereka berpindah-pindah dari satu tempat ke tempat lain untuk menghindari kejaran orang-orang Voldermort.
Di bawah ancaman pembunuhan itu, Harry dan kawan-kawannya harus menyelesaikan misi Dumbledore yang belum selesai, yakni menemukan Hocrux untuk melenyapkan kegelapan yang menguasai dunia. Dumbledore memberikan warisan terakhir berupa Deluminator kepada Ron, kitab 'The Tales of Beetle the Bard' untuk Hermione, dan Snitch untuk Harry Potter. Tidak hanya itu, Harry juga mendapat warisan Pedang Gryffindor. Namun, pedang ini tak diketahui keberadaannya. Harry harus mencarinya karena hanya dengan pedang itulah, Horcruxe bisa dipecahkan.
Dikerjakan oleh sutradara David Yates yang sebelumnya mengerjakan 'The Order of The Phoenix' dan 'Half Blood Prince', 'Deathly Hollows Part 1' menjadi film eksyen-petualangan yang seru, dan menyajikan ketegangan nyaris tanpa putus dari awal hingga akhir. Yang menarik, justru ketika 'Harry Potter' tiba pada seri yang paling gelap, unsur komedi dan dramanya muncul lebih intens. Dalam film ini, kita akan menyaksikan trio penyihir itu menghadiri resepsi pernikahan, hingga bagaimana mereka menjelajah kota London, masuk ke kafe memesan Capucino.
Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint dan Emma Watson yang telah tumbuh menjadi aktor-aktris remaja melanjutkan aksinya, memainkan perannya masing-masing secara lebih emosional dan matang. Kita akan menyaksikan Harry Potter ciuman, Ron cemburu dan ngambek, Hermoione menampar Ron serta kekompakan mereka sebagai tiga sahabat yang tersesat di hutan, dan harus bahu-membahu mengatasi berbagai rintangan.
Sampai pada bagian pertama dari sekuel terakhir ini, 'Harry Potter' menemukan klimaksnya. Ini adalah film terbaik dari seluruh rangkaian, secara total menyajikan sebuah dunia yang gelap dan menakutkan. Film ini akan membuat kita tidak sabar untuk menunggu bagian keduanya, yang baru akan rilis setahun lagi.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides 2011
Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) tak pernah mengira kalau ia bakal bertemu lagi dengan Angelica (Penelope Cruz. Sejak awal Jack memang tak pernah bisa meyakinkan dirinya sendiri tentang apa yang ia rasakan. Jack tak yakin apakah ia telah jatuh cinta pada wanita ini atau tidak. Dan sepertinya Angelica tahu persis bahwa ia bisa memanfaatkan Jack untuk mendapatkan apa yang ia inginkan.
Dengan rayuannya, Angelica berhasil meyakinkan Jack Sparrow untuk membantunya mencari legenda mata air yang konon bisa membuat orang tak bertambah tua sedikit pun. Jack yang masih ragu toh akhirnya bersedia juga berangkat bersama Angelica untuk mencari mata air ini. Celakanya, masalah Jack bukan hanya Angelica saja. Angelica adalah putri dari bajak laut Blackbeard (Ian McShane), musuh besar Jack Sparrow.
Saat perjalanan dimulai, Jack semakin tak pasti. Ia tak lagi tahu siapa yang sebenarnya lebih berbahaya, Blackbeard atau Angelica. Sayangnya perjalanan sudah dimulai dan tak mungkin Captain Jack Sparrow mundur dari perjalanan penuh risiko ini. Berhasilkah mereka menemukan mata air legendaris itu? Dan mampukah Jack Sparrow lolos dengan selamat kali ini?
Captain America: The First Avenger 2011
Setelah menunggu sekian lama, akhirnya bulan ini saya merasa senang sekali. Karena ada salah satu film favorit saya yang baru hadir di Bioskop, apalagi dalam film 3D, wah sunggu senang sekali. Film ini merupakan salah satu film yang terbaik buatan Marvel, yaitu film CAPTAIN AMERICA dengan Chris Evans sebagai pemeran utamanya, yaitu peran Steve Rogers atau Captain America.
Chris Evans sendiri pernah dua kali memerankan film buatan Marvel, yaitu dalam film Fantastic Four dan Fantastic Four and The Silver Surfer. Peran Evans dalam kedua film tersebut adalah sebagai Johny Storm atau yang dikenal juga dengan julukan Human Torch yaitu si manusia obor, karena dia memiliki kekuatan api yang bisa dikendalikan dan digunakan dari tubuhnya sendiri.
Kali ini Evans mendapatkan kehormatan kembali memerankan peran utama sebagai Captain America. Di Film CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER ini dikisahkan dari awal, yakni sejak pendaftaran tentara untuk perang. Rogers (Chris Evans) mencoba untuk mendaftarkan dirinya masuk ke dalam militer, namun ternyata di reject alias ditolak. Mungkin karena proporsi tubuh yang kurang sesuai untuk kategori tentara.
Walaupun begitu, Steve tetap mencoba untuk ikut militer, dan ternyata lagi ada program eksperimen militer yang bertujuan untuk membuat prajurit super dengan kekuatan yang lebih hebat. Nama eksperimen ini adalah Project: Rebirth. Mengetahui ada eksperimen ini, Steve dengan sukarela ikut mendaftarkan diri sebagai bagian dari eksperimen tersebut.
Steve masuk kedalam tabung eksperimen, dan kemudian dimasukkanlah sel dan zat kimia kedalam tubuh Steve. Setelah tabung eksperimen tersebut terbuka, Steve berubah drastis, badannya yang semula kecil dan agak kurus, kini berubah menjadi besar, tinggi dan kuat.
Namun, dengan adanya prajurit super bukan berarti mudah untuk mengalahkan para musuhnya. Hal ini dibuktikan denganm munculnya seorang anggota Nazi bernama Red Skull (Hugo Weaving). Red Skull menjadi rival utama Captain America, Red Skull sendiri juga memiliki sebuah organisasi HYDRA banyak pasukan. Selain itu Red Skull juga berambisi menguasai dunia dengan sebuah benda berkekuatan super yang namanya Tesseract.
Menghadapi Red Skull, pasukan Amerika membutuhkan bantuan sang Captain America. Captain America ini adalah orang pertama yang bergabung sebagai tim The Avengers. Captain America pun menyerang dengan dibantu bersama Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) dan Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) untuk menghadapi Red Skull dan pasukannya.

Cast Away (2000)
Cast Away merupakan salah satu film Tom Hanks yang terkenal di tahun 2000. Cerita film yang sederhana namun banyak mengajarkan tentang pantang menyerah. Berkisah tentang seorang eksekutif muda di perusahaan jasa Federal Express (FedEx), Chuck Noland (Tom Hanks), yang suatu hari ditugaskan untuk meninjau cabang perusahaan di wilayah Pasifik Selatan. Sebelum pergi, Chuck terlebih dahulu melamar Kelly, gadis pujaannya, dan berjanji akan menikahinya segera setelah Chuck pulang. Dalam perjalanan, pesawat yang ditumpanginya mengalami kecelakaan sehingga terdampar di sebuah pulau. Hanya Chuck yang selamat dari kecelakaan tersebut. Sejak saat itu dimulailah kehidupan Chuck seorang diri di pulau asing untuk bertahan hidup. Hari demi hari dilaluinya dengan kerinduan mendalam untuk pulang menemui Kelly. Setelah terdampar selama 4 tahun, Chuck menjadi terbiasa hidup di pulau tak berpenghuni. Namun karena kerinduannya untuk pulang, dia pun nekat membuat sebuah rakit.
Film yang disutradarai Robert Zemeckis dan dibuat oleh Century Fox dan DreamWorks ini walaupun tidak berhasil memenangkan satu Piala Oscar pun, namun tetap menjadi film yang layak tonton. Dengan banyaknya monolog dalam perannya, akting Tom Hanks patut mendapat pujian.
how the grinch stole christmas (2000)
On a tiny snowflake floating through the air, exists the town of Who-ville, home of the Whos. The town is joyously preparing for the coming of Christmas.
However, of all the Whose, a little girl named Cindy Lou Who is feeling depressed, and not at all in the holiday spirit. When her brother and his friends return from climbing Mt Crumpit and claim they saw the Grinch, Cindy Lou grows curious as to the Grinch, who she learns does not like Christmas. While in the Post Office with her Father, Cindy takes some mail to a backroom, and finds the Grinch trying to cause havoc in the mail room. The Grinch scares her, and causes Cindy to fall into the mail sorting machine. To her surprise, the Grinch rescues her.
Cindy then decides to investigate more into the Grinch's past, and interviews several people, including two elderly women who cared for the Grinch, as well as town socialite Margaret May-Who and the Mayor, both of whom were classmates with the Grinch.
From the information she collects, the Grinch as a child actually liked Christmas, and even had a crush on Margaret. However, the Mayor as a child, taunted the Grinch about this. The Grinch tries to create a hand-made present for Margaret and shave off his facial hair, but the bad shaving job causes the class to laugh at him, finally causing him to hate Christmas. After that, he ran away to Mt Crumpit.
As Christmas approaches, the Mayor announces the upcoming Who-bilation, where the town nominates a Cheer Meister. While the Mayor looks forward to another unanimous vote for himself, Cindy requests that they nominate the Grinch, feeling he deserves it the most.
With enough votes, Cindy gets the Grinch a nomination, and climbs up Mt Crumpit to deliver it to him. The Grinch does not believe her at first, but reconsiders when he finds out he'll be receiving an award, and that Margaret May-Who will be attending. The Grinch agonizes over the decision to attend (partly believing this is a trick), before appearing to the Who's.
While at first apprehensive, the Grinch appears to be getting into the Christmas spirit, until the Mayor proposes to Martha May-Who, and offers her a car. The ostentatious gift rouses the ire of the Grinch, and he then begins to wreck the celebration, causing mayhem and burning down the Christmas tree. Cindy feels terrible that her plan to make the Grinch feel better has been ruined, and the Grinch returns to Mt Crumpit.
The Grinch feeling worse then ever, decides that this year, he'll stop Christmas from coming, by dressing as Santa, and stealing it. Fashioning a sled, he and his dog Max return to Who-Ville, and make off with all the gifts and festive trimmings. Taking everything to the top of Mt Crumpit, he plans to drop it all over the edge.
Back in Who-ville, everyone is sad and distraught, with the Mayor blaming the whole thing on Cindy for inviting the Grinch. Cindy's father proclaims that he actually is proud of his daughter, because he's seen that Christmas is not about presents and decorations, but about being together. Soon a number of other Who's join in and begin singing.
This sound causes the Grinch to pause, wondering how they can be so cheerful. As he watches, the emotion gets to him, and his once shrivelled heart grows 3 sizes. The Grinch then returns the presents to Who-ville, and apologizes for his misdeed. At the same time, Margaret May-Who tells the Mayor she is rejecting his marriage proposal, and that her heart belongs to the Grinch.
In the closing of the film, the town feast is held, with the Grinch carving the Roast Beast.

When her brother and his friends return from climbing Mt Crumpit and claim they saw the Grinch, Cindy Lou grows curious as to the Grinch, who she learns does not like Christmas. While in the Post Office with her Father, Cindy takes some mail to a backroom, and finds the Grinch trying to cause havoc in the mail room. The Grinch scares her, and causes Cindy to fall into the mail sorting machine. To her surprise, the Grinch rescues her.
Cindy then decides to investigate more into the Grinch's past, and interviews several people, including two elderly women who cared for the Grinch, as well as town socialite Margaret May-Who and the Mayor, both of whom were classmates with the Grinch.
From the information she collects, the Grinch as a child actually liked Christmas, and even had a crush on Margaret. However, the Mayor as a child, taunted the Grinch about this. The Grinch tries to create a hand-made present for Margaret and shave off his facial hair, but the bad shaving job causes the class to laugh at him, finally causing him to hate Christmas. After that, he ran away to Mt Crumpit.
As Christmas approaches, the Mayor announces the upcoming Who-bilation, where the town nominates a Cheer Meister. While the Mayor looks forward to another unanimous vote for himself, Cindy requests that they nominate the Grinch, feeling he deserves it the most.
With enough votes, Cindy gets the Grinch a nomination, and climbs up Mt Crumpit to deliver it to him. The Grinch does not believe her at first, but reconsiders when he finds out he'll be receiving an award, and that Margaret May-Who will be attending. The Grinch agonizes over the decision to attend (partly believing this is a trick), before appearing to the Who's.
While at first apprehensive, the Grinch appears to be getting into the Christmas spirit, until the Mayor proposes to Martha May-Who, and offers her a car. The ostentatious gift rouses the ire of the Grinch, and he then begins to wreck the celebration, causing mayhem and burning down the Christmas tree. Cindy feels terrible that her plan to make the Grinch feel better has been ruined, and the Grinch returns to Mt Crumpit.
The Grinch feeling worse then ever, decides that this year, he'll stop Christmas from coming, by dressing as Santa, and stealing it. Fashioning a sled, he and his dog Max return to Who-Ville, and make off with all the gifts and festive trimmings. Taking everything to the top of Mt Crumpit, he plans to drop it all over the edge.
Back in Who-ville, everyone is sad and distraught, with the Mayor blaming the whole thing on Cindy for inviting the Grinch. Cindy's father proclaims that he actually is proud of his daughter, because he's seen that Christmas is not about presents and decorations, but about being together. Soon a number of other Who's join in and begin singing.
This sound causes the Grinch to pause, wondering how they can be so cheerful. As he watches, the emotion gets to him, and his once shrivelled heart grows 3 sizes. The Grinch then returns the presents to Who-ville, and apologizes for his misdeed. At the same time, Margaret May-Who tells the Mayor she is rejecting his marriage proposal, and that her heart belongs to the Grinch.
In the closing of the film, the town feast is held, with the Grinch carving the Roast Beast.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) has built the greatest and largest chocolate factory in the world. After some of his workers steal his secret recipes, Willy Wonka kicks his workers out and closes the doors. For 15 years, no one has seen any workers entering or leaving the factory, yet his chocolate candy is still being produced and shipped around the world. One day when Willy Wonka is getting his hair cut, he realizes that he is getting old, and he needs a successor. He comes up with a plan to open his factory and reveal his secrets to five lucky children, who find golden tickets inside Wonka chocolate bars.
The golden tickets are sent around the world and soon 4 winners are announced. The first to find a ticket is the greedy Augustus Gloop (Philip Wiegratz). Second is the spoiled Veruca Salt (Julia Winter). Next is the competitive gum-chomping Violet Beauregard (AnnaSophia Robb). Fourth is the chocolate-hating techie Mike Teevee (Jordan Fry). There is one golden ticket left, and the achingly poor Charlie Bucket (Freddie Highmore) finds it. Charlie chooses his Grandpa Joe (David Kelly) to accompany him inside the factory, a place his Grandpa Joe once worked before it was closed. The other four children with their parents, and Charlie with Grandpa Joe, enter the factory and begin the tour of a lifetime.
The factory is not like your standard factory, but a living factory which mixes chocolate by waterfall, and boasts a river of chocolate that enables the group to tour the factory by boat. They experience the great glass Wonkavator, which can go anywhere in the factory, in any direction, at the touch of a button. During the tour, the group learns that all the work is now being done by the Oompa-Loompa tribe, who are paid in cocoa beans. The factory is indeed fantastic: trees and grass are edible, trained squirrels shell nuts for the chocolate bars, entire meals are contained in a stick of gum, and incredible technology allows chocolate to be sent by television. The four rotten children get to interact with some of Willy Wonka's fantastic inventions with unfortunate consequences which force them off the tour before it is completed. Charlie is the last child left, and Willy Wonka awards Charlie the greatest prize of all, the keys to the factory, which Charlie refuses. Accepting the prize means living Willy Wonka's life: cut off from family and the world to devote oneself to the pursuit of chocolate perfection. Godzilla 1998
Kisahnya bermula ketika kapal nelayan Jepang ditenggelamkan oleh sesuatu yang sangat besar di lautan Pasifik. Seorang nelayan Jepang yang selamat menceritakan tentang monster tersebut kepada Phillipe Roache, agen pemerintah Prancis yang ingin menyembunyikan kesalahan akibat percobaan nuklir negara tersebut. Sementara itu, di tempat lain, seorang ahli biologi, Dr. Niko Tatopoulos (Matthew Broderick) dijemput oleh militer Amerika Serikat untuk menyelidiki tapak raksasa misterius di Polynesia.
Hanya Niko yang menyadari tapak tersebut dibuat oleh kadal raksasa hasil mutasi radioaktif, namun mereka sudah terlambat karena kadal yang kemudian dinamakan Godzilla telah mengarungi samudera Pasifik, menuju ke Pantai Timur Amerika Serikat, tepatnya New York. Di kota tersebut berdiamlah mantan kekasih Niko, Audrey Timmonds (Maria Pitillo) yang berprofesi wartawati televisi. Kedatangan Niko dan para militer yang dipimpin Kolonel Hicks (Kevin Dunn) di New York dicium Audrey pasti memiliki arti penting sehingga sang wartawati cantik itu pun berusaha mendekati kembali Niko demi sebuah promosi di jaringan televisi tempat kerjanya.
Niko yang diam-diam masih mencintai Audrey yang meninggalkannya delapan tahun lalu, merasa senang dapat bertemu Audrey. Sementara itu, Godzilla muncul di New Yrok sehingga menimbulkan kepanikan besar pada penduduk kota tersebut. Pihak militer telah mempergunakan berbagai cara untuk menghancurkan monster kadal raksasa, namun tidak berhasil. Bahkan Godzilla membuat kerusakan besar di New York tanpa bisa dihentikan.Akhirnya Niko mendapati jawaban terhadap pertanyaan yang menghantuinya, mengapa Godzilla pergi ke New York. Rupanya Godzilla hendak menjadikan kota tersebut sebagai sarang penetasan telur-telurnya.
Ketika pihak militer menolak mencari sarang Godzilla, akhirnya Niko, Audrey bergabung dengan tim agen rahasia Prancis pimpinan Phillipe Roache untuk menghancurkan sarang monster kadal raksasa berisi telur para Godzilla muda yang siap menetas. Ketika militer akhirnya menyadari Niko benar sehingga mengirimkan pesawat tempur untuk menghancurkan sarang yang terletak di Madison Square Garden. Sayangnya hal itu membuat Godzilla sangat marah sekali dan memburu Niko, Audrey, Phillipe dan kawan-kawannya.
Matthew Broderick
Aktor pemeran Dr. Niko Tatopoulos ini walau memiliki reputasi bagus di atas panggung teater dan film, toh banyak orang sukar melupakan perannya yang sangat populer, yakni sebagai tokoh remaja Ferris Bueller yang kocak dan nakal dalam film "Ferris Buellers Day Off" (1986). Lantaran stereotip peran remaja tersebut dan juga wajah yang lebih muda dari usianya, Matthew yang dilahirkan di New York pada 21 Maret 1962, sangat sukar memperoleh peran yang sesuai dengan usianya dalam waktu cukup lama.

Sejak itu, Matthew melaju ke panggung teater bergengsi sepert produksi Broadway "Biloxi Blues", "Brighton Beach Memoirs" dan "Torch Song Trilogy". Di tahun 1983, Matthew membuat debut pertama di layar perak, yakni berperan sebagai remaja yang berhasil menghentikan perang nuklir dalam "WarGames" (1983), sebuah film yang meledak di pasaran. Ia kemudian membintangi beberapa film, namun film "Ferris Buellers Day Off" (1986) yang menjadikannya sebagai bintang Hollywood.
Setelah mendapatkan berbagai kesuksesan, filmnya yang berbiaya besar "Godzilla" (1998) mendapatkan kritik habis-habisan dari para kritikus. Jurassic Park III
Setelah sukses pada sekuel sebelumnya di pasaran mancanegara dan juga berhasil meraup keuntungan puluhan bahkan ratusan juta dollar, tak heran film drama sci fi adventure ini membuat sekuel berikutnya. Film ini sendiri mengungkapkan kejadian dari berbagai kehidupan binatang purba yang sudah langka.
Delapan tahun setelah kecelakaan yang menimpa InGen, Dr. Alan Gran kembali meniti hidup normal yang penuh bahagia karena kediamannya yang sekarang, jauh dari urusan dan kehidupan dinosaurus dan fosil. Sayangnya, dana yang ia simpan mulai berkurang untuk penelitian selanjutnya. Oleh sebab itu, ia menerima tawaran pengusaha kaya Paul Kirby dalam pengembangan penelitiannya.
Satu hal yang tak diketahui oleh Dr. Grant kalau pengusaha kaya ini, Kirbi hanya membutuhkan ahli dinosaurus untuk membantu dirinya dan istrinya mencari anak mereka yang masih berumur 14 tahun, Eric yang mendapat kecelakaan di Isla Sorna, saat melakukan olah raga paragliding. Dimana pulau tersebut adalah tempat penelitian Dr. Grant dan timnya dalam mengembang biakkan dinosaurus dan binantang purba lainnya.
Ternyata, tanpa diduga perkembangan bintang purba lainnya dari species Velociraptors sudah mengerti dan pandai berkomunikasi dibanding hewan menyusui lainnya.
Keadaan makin rumit ketika kalangan spesies pandai ini mengetahui keberadaan mereka. Maka perburuan dan pengejaran pun tak dapat dihindarkan. Nyawa mereka menjadi taruhan karena diburu setiap saat oleh binatang raksasa tersebut.
Bagaimana kelanjutan penelitian Dr. Grant sekaligus diburu oleh binatang asuhannya? Bisakah mereka meloloskan diri dan dapatkah dia menjinakkan binatang purba yang sudah pintar itu?
The Lost World: Jurassic Park
A few years back, venture capitalist John Hammond figured out how to recreate dinosaurs from DNA fragments encased in amber. He started a company called InGen, which placed the genetically engineered dinosaurs in a theme park on an island in Costa Rica.
But the Jurassic Park systems broke down shortly before it could open, the dinosaurs got free and had to be destroyed, and the island was closed to the public.
In the aftermath, everyone involved moved quickly to quash the story. InGen wanted to limit its liability. The Costa Rican government wanted to preserve its reputation as a tourist paradise. And the individual scientists who had been hired as consultants on the project were bound by nondisclosure agreements to remain silent.
But as Dr. Ian Malcolm is about to find out ...

The Lost World: Jurassic Park is the sequel to Steven Spielberg's 1993 film recounting events on a Costa Rican island inhabited by genetically-engineered dinosaurs, which broke all box-office records and showcased an emerging visual effects technology.
Based on the novel by Michael Crichton, the story picks up four years after the disaster at Jurassic Park. Something has survived on Isla Sorna, a second island where the dinosaur manufacturing facility code-named Site B has been destroyed by a hurricane and the animals now run free, constrained only by the laws of nature.

Milyuner bernama John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) meminta dua ahli dinosaurus (Laura Dern dan Sam Neill) untuk menjadi konsultan bisnis taman hiburan-nya yang berisi dinosaurus hidup hasil kloning sebagai atraksinya.
Para ahli paleontologi tersebut bersama dengan seorang ahli matematika (Jeff Goldblum); dan juga dua cucu Hammond berkeliling taman tersebut.
Namun perjalanan itu berubah menjadi sebuah teror ketika badai besar melanda tempat tersebut. Ditambah perbuatan seorang teknisi licik dan adanya dinosaurus yang memberontak, yang mulai menghancurkan taman itu.

Menyetujui studio tersebut, film ini mungkin sudah rampung saat rilis musim panas, namun, tanggal yang dimundurkan tersebut memberi waktu lebih untuk proses produksi.
